I realize I have little if anything to do with the events in your journal, and far be it from me, worthless commentator that I am, to say something that would tie me back in, so forgive this non sequitur of a return.

After seeing this post, though, and with a recent pet of my own for the first time in over a decade, seeing those eyes, and knowing you'd do anything in the world to protect them, I had to say something.

I just want to say I'm very sorry about your little one. It must have been tremendously trying for you both - I hope you and Andy will be alright. I know Gail is - she's just fine now.
