Cool. If their prices are in the same range or not too much higher than Lowe's then I'll be leaning toward them; giving the local economy a boost rather than sending it to a corporate HQ elsewhere and all that. One issue will be where they deliver, though again I'm willing to pay a little more to keep it local.
The real problem will be financing. We need to find an "N months same as cash no interest" wherein N >= 6 months. Since the closing may actually be sooner than we expected we're scrambling a bit to get the down payment at least on paper, and from May-August we'll be paying both mortgage and rent on our apartment unless Andy's aunt/cousin/whatever ends up needing to stay in the apartment for some or all of those months. OTOH, we sort of need the appliances from the outset; the refrigerator especially is not negotiable. If Baillos can't offer the no interest thing we'll probably have to go with the big chains, but we'll definitely check them out. Thank you for the tip!
