A Rather Famous Cat

Don't ask me how my train of thought arrived there, but today I mused aloud that, given Cleese's philosophical soliloquy at the beginning of "Eric the Half-A-Bee", the Pythons would have had great fun with Schroedinger's cat. [livejournal.com profile] callicrates added "So now we know its name was Eric".

Well, its name *may* have been Eric. Or it may not have been.

Or, to be even more confusing, its name was both Eric and not Eric at the same time. The actual case could only be determined by a suitable offering of tuna.

Actually, I was thinking of a suitable offering of dead mouse. Which might not disturb the observed one bit, but would certainly disturb the observer.
