I feel compelled to point a few things out. We have no evidence that Lily Potter was a homemaker. Hermione's mother is a dental hygienist. Neville's mother was an auror, as was his grandmother, if I recall correctly. Luna's mom was clearly not your typical housewife. Tonks was an auror. The list goes on.
So, I agree to some extent, but I also disagree. I think there are far more examples than you are remembering.
