like, oh, being in Rome all weekend twice in the space of three weeks
Oh, I thought you were home for a week in between. I must have mixed up the dates. (my sense of time is all whacky, since it seems like all I do is sleep, go to OJ's mom's house, go to work, go back to OJ's mom's house, and then sleep again)
I decided to do them that day rather than waiting for waiting for the weekend, but I didn't tell him since I wanted it to be a pleasant surprise.
Ah. We do things differently I think -- we do our chores when they need to be done throughout the week, we don't usually wait for the weekend, so that wouldn't make for a surprise. Anyway, I've still found that the best surprises are when I do something in addition to the things I've already promised (and am therefore already expected) to do.
