Yes, such jitters are completely normal, but it doesn't make the whole thing any easier. I know you'll do great there, and Skype really is a wonderful thing. I always think about how this sort of away time was before internet, and phone even! Luckily, we live in this age and it's easy to see your loved ones long-distance.
