Ho-Hum

Let's see; on Saturday Andy spent most of the time working on the new machine he's putting together. It leaves Cathedral, the one he's been using, in the dust and cost maybe a quarter of what Cathedral did. It's named Loom to stay with the Spundreams theme (mine is Skein) and will be used mostly for gaming and stuff, since Andy uses his laptop for nigh on everything else. Cathedral will be sent to NC, and when we visit in early December Andy will replace the machine currently known as Neverest with the one currently known as Cathedral. Neverest is old and creaky and is due for a life of retirement, and Cathedral will be more than adequate as a server.

Some gaming stuff also happened, but that deserves a whole entry to itself. Hopefully tomorrow.
