Song a Day Meme: Day 01

Yesterday, once I decided to do this meme, I began writing down possibilities. This entry is the most crossed-out and re-written. I attribute this to the fact that my favorite song is actually a set of songs which speak to me in different moods, and thus my favorite song is more a snapshot of a particular moment in time than an actual above-all-else favorite. That being said:
