A Load Off My Mind

willowispA while back I wrote on Facebook about finally getting my hair cut for the first time since before the plague. Then life happened and I had to put it off. Finally, today, with much thanks to Peninah and Rachel, it happened. It is so nice to be able to lean my head against the back of the sofa without the ponytail in the way. I can't wait to take a shower and not have to use half a bottle of shampoo, and to be able to rinse my hair in less than 20 minutes.
I had decided, when everything closed down last year, to grow out my hair for Locks of Love again. While the place I went to isn't affiliated with Locks of Love, they do know the ins and outs and I now have some ponytails to donate. Cameron, the stylist, didn't have much to work with when it was done, and he did a great job. I'll take a shower tomorrow to get out the product he put in my hair and see if it's as easy to work with as he made it look.
