*Grins* PhD gowns are fun.. Mine was Scarlet, with scarlet trim, and an fur floopy hat thing. I got asked a lot from people 'what's that one for? Why are you wearing red?' cos everyone else except the PhD's were in black robes with scarlet trim (scarlet is the medicine colour for Birmingham), and I didn't have to wear a mortar board like the first time out! Very cool, but very hot in the middle of July on a sunny day!
