Andy continues to get better, and today exercised and ate Mexican food. Although the former wore him out, he was none the worse for wear for the latter. He also spent way too long at work, but since he was home by 8, I guess I can't complain too much. He had fun with idiots this morning -- when he asked them to come move a computer he no longer needed, and they replied that he needed to tell them his office number. Opening his reply was probably more effort than it would have taken to look it up in any of the dozen directories in the building.

I did an hour unbroken on the treadmill today. Tomorrow I open the window next to the treadmill, no matter how cold I am when I start. Sometimes, very rarely, I have cause to be grateful that my mind wanders so easily. It makes it so much easier when I'm daydreaming about D&D (Rolemaster) campaigns past and such. I just hope I manage to stick to this one, except when I'm at Andy's parents' place and can use their elliptical trainer instead.

Speaking of Andy's folks, I realized today that, much to my chagrin, it was already the 30th, which means Emily's birthday had passed. I've been so fixated on February 7th that I completely forgot to check the actual dates which have been going by. Luckily she wasn't offended that we forgot, and we both had a nice chat with her.

In eight days I'll be flying back to Syracuse to see Grandpa. I got the most wonderful gift from Andy today, too -- he reserved a ticket, so he'll be going as well. Grandpa asked about him so often last time I visited; I bet it will make him very happy to have Andy there.

There isn't much by way of other news. I got a pretty paperweight in the mail; the one I linked to a few entries ago. As a reward for getting up in time to bid I did so, and no one outbid me. It's really pretty, with blues and purples I haven't often seen in paperweights. It's fairly unusual for me in that it's not dichroic, but it's still neat, and has an interesting shape.
