Today, while reading news of the odd, I read this blurb to him "In Britain, postmen are concerned about the book's size and weight as they have to deliver about 500,000 copies on Saturday morning but are only allowed to carry 35.3 lbs each." I then went on to mention that the book was 896 pages, but I never once mentioned the book's title. Andy replied with "I wonder how long before she crosses 1000 pages."

And just now, I was reading him the specks on the book (2.2 lbs) and he intoned "You will be allowed one carry-on item as well as one small personal item such as a purse, laptop, small backpack, or the latest Harry Potter book."

Here they made it sound like the postmen are wimps for only being able to carry that amount of stuff. But, what they failed to mention is, most postmen are on foot, or on a bicycle. Buh. Poor posties. I'm doing my a favour and going to costco to get mine before the family party - addict? Me? :)
