At 2pm callicrates and I are going to the owner orientation to our house. As of about ten seconds ago, the status page does not have "Ready for buyer orientation" checked.
Did you build from dirt? I think that's why we're doing so much stuff which most people seem not to. Actually, it turned out that this wasn't even the orientation, it was just a walk-through so we could tell Pam anything which was bothering us which had escaped her notice, plus we learned how to turn light the pilot for our water heater. I believe orientation will be telling us things like "Don't use undiluted chlorine bleach to spot-clean your carpet", "This is how to set the timer on all of your appliances", and so on. It may well also be where we add a clause to our contract that unfinished work will be finished in this decade.
We bought a 33 year old house, and it's apparently assumed that you just automatically *know* things about your house. (No, I don't know why they'd think that.)
