willowisp | Health Addendum Part I

I got a call this morning; the RN wants a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. The earliest possible date is August 25th, the day before my lactose breathalyzer test. She is also ordering some more labwork, details forthcoming in the mail. I need to head over there today and turn in a release form for them to get records from the last spate of allergy testing (which included a colonoscopy) back in NC. I also need to turn in some other samples. I would be very happy if getting the 2002 results in their hands would obviate the need for the stuff on the 25th and that she was simply re-ordering the labwork I've not handed in yet, but I rather doubt that's the case.

I'm not sure if the results of the bloodwork were what warranted this newest set of tests; hopefully if I'm allergic to something other than eggs/wheat they'll tell me before they get the results from the further tests. Meanwhile I'm trying to make rhyme or reason of what is causing the attacks, and other than their being less frequent and less virulent since I dropped dairy, there is absolutely no apparent trigger I've been able to discern. Food which causes no problems on some days seem to trigger attacks on others, and then will be ok a day or so later.
