Andy and I are back from the funeral. It was beautiful, as befit the person whom it was honoring.
We got to see (and in at least one case, callicrates got to meet) some old friends. Hopefully we won't wait so long for the next reunion.

Heidi purred as soon as I picked her up. Sean is running around meowing frantically even after I picked him up and he asked to be put down. Some things are wonderfully consistent.

Cats are nice that way. I usually get a warmer greeting from the lasses and lad when I arrive home than I do from carolefurr. That may because they think "hey, he's a soft touch, he might feed us if we come and bug him," though.
