It was a Monday, and it manifested in the need for a three-mile walk today. At least I've made up for only taking half a walk last night and no walk when I was in Lynchburg. I'll be taking a full walk tonight, and I might even see some fireflies on the walk -- I did last night. It seems they are an early evening type of bug for the most part, though.

I talked to the apartment folks today, and we'll be dropping our claim on the apartment which we'd originally put the hold on and instead be going for one with the same floor plan coming open in mid-July. Andy and I are now aiming for a move-in date of Monday, July 14th. I'm planning, barring any unexpected walks tomorrow, to get utilities set up and give notice at Timber Hollow.

Andy talked to his boss at Sandia, and his official starting date is Monday, July 21st. In his second week there he'll be going to Siggraph to present his paper which he wrote about quite in his early journal entries. His former advisor is taking him out for lunch on Wednesday, and he's currently working on getting everything to the point where those he's leaving behind will be able to figure out what's going on. Hopefully they'll be able to jump-start the mover process now that Andy's faxed his acceptance in. Must. Resist. Urge. To. Run. Around. Crazy.
