No-Impact Pouncing(?)

callicrates or I can remember, at least since moving to the house, Heidi has had a distinctive habit: when we're leaving our bedroom, she'll be crouched in a pounce position, not-quite-really hidden behind the wall. When we come out she never actually pounces, but she does give a very unique meow if we acknowledge her presence in any way.
Today we finally realized what's going on. Heidi must have read up on touch/no-tackle football, and decided to adapt it. The meow she gives is saying "Consider yourself pounced".
