Date Night
Aug. 7th, 2010 11:19 pmAndy and I had a date night tonight. We started at The Melting Pot for an early dinner. Unfortunately we weren't used to them being so swamped so early, and dinner ran rather longer than planned. We ended up leaving without having done the chocolate course, though they told us we could come back after the movie for it.
The movie was Toy Story 3. I had been dubious about whether Pixar could pull off another movie as good as the first and second. I shouldn't have worried; of course they could -- and they did. No spoilers here, but I do recommend it to those who haven't seen it.
After the movie Andy called the restaurant and found out they were still swamped, with five groups awaiting seating. Since there was a Cold Stone nearby we decided to opt for that. We'll go in for the chocolate course some other time.
All in all it was a good night.
