willowispAndy's home! He now has some food (and Martinelli's) in him. Sadly he didn't have room for the cake. I stopped to get it on the way to the airport, and it was in the back seat of the car. His first comment was "Either that's a small cake or the oddest CD spindle I've ever seen". It's so nice to have him back.
In other news, Grandpa's in the hospital -- dehydration and a raging infection. The doctor had apparently wanted to hospitalize him when he first got the infection, but he refused. He hasn't eaten for several days and drank very little. He's currently getting an IV drip of fluids and antibiotics.
USAirways has some really incredibly-priced flights from RDU to Syracuse. I may go see him once or twice between now and mid-December. I'll have to dip into our savings, but I'm not going to let him slip away like I did Grandpa Shad.
