It's happened once again. Every morning since I was adopted, and often as not repeated later in the day, mom and dad each go into the spray room and get all wet. At first I thought they'd just been really bad, but even I don't get in trouble that often. Then Thena showed me the joys of cabinet-sitting, and after watching for a while I'm pretty certain that they're grooming.
I have tried showing them how much easier it could be. I groom mom on a nearly daily basis, at least on the parts which she doesn't cover with that silly toupee fur people use. When they're in the spray room I very pointedly groom to let them know that they don't have to spray themselves, but they just haven't gotten it yet. Ah well, I guess the best I can do is continue demonstrating for them and hope they someday catch on.
