While sorting through bank statements I realized we received one belonging to someone else. It was from October of 2002. Should I send it to the person listed, send it back to the bank, or burn it?
Did you open it already? If not, throw it back in the mail with "delivered to wrong address" or "please redeliver to correct address" or "return to sender" on it. If not, either send it to the person or burn it; by now the person knows they didn't get their October statement and can request a substitute one from the bank if they want.
