Siggraph Widowhood, Day I

willowispOk, so I wasn't a widow all day; I had Andy until two or so. He arrived safely and is in the care of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tyee. I went shopping for some much-needed lighting and stuff so I can eat this coming week. I got a bunch of house-hunting magazines and will be perusing them this coming week. I ate cereal for dinner. The kitties miss Andy already, and keep looking for him. I don't blame them one bit, mind. I also watched "Trading Spaces" as is our usual Saturday night activity. I didn't bother to turn the TV off for the show in between, called "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". All I can say is that any person who believes a wedding can't be done well for well over $15,000 should have seen merlinofchaos and esmerel's, or, heck, callicrates' and mine.
Tomorrow I'm having brunch with my mom's cousin or somesuch and her husband, one of her twin daughters who's older than Andy, and her daughter's boyfriend, who works at Sandia. It should be interesting since wheat allergy definitely seems to run in our family; Mom, her cousin, and I at the very least all are. I think it's actually going to be at their house, but I'm not positive. I may actually get to bed at a decent time tonight so I'm ready by the time they get here.
