It was another treadmill day, with the rain crossing the line to sleet or hail several times. We think we heard another tree go down, and saw one which looked as if it might have been the one. Hopefully it'll stay above freezing tonight or else the roads tomorrow will be one large block of sheet ice.

For GNO it was just Tanner, Bram, and us at his house. He made the pizza using his stone. The Junkyard Wars episode was fun, even though I knew in advance that the team I don't like was going to win. Oh well, they get nailed later, so I'll live. My disliking for a team apparently trumps the "judge picks them on his/her first try" curse.

Rest in peace, Mr. Rogers. Only one more day for February to get in any last shots.

Here's hoping the rest of the month --and year, and *decade* -- have a minimum of unpleasant surprises.

And yes, we'll miss Mr. Rogers. Rest in Peace.
